Lisa Green-Barber

Lisa began her path to fitness in 2011 when she enrolled in the “Commit to Be Fit” course (designed to teach healthy living through exercise and proper nutrition). From there, she developed a keen interest in nutrition and exercise in order to help reach a healthy weight and feel better after a long and intense career in school administration.

Lisa found her “home away from home” at the Downtown Gym where she enjoyed a wide range of classes targeting strength and endurance,

as well as body conditioning. She has found happiness in exercising and in helping others along their journey to fitness. Lisa has seen firsthand that staying active is the key to a healthy life—both now and as we age.
